The Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem was birthed in the hearts of Indigenous leaders over 25 years ago and yet its fulfilment has come at “such a time as this”. On 1 February 2024, IEJ was officially launched at an event in Jerusalem. It was welcomed as the 100th embassy in Israel and the 5th in Jerusalem.
Directors Hon Alfred Ngaro and Dr Sheree Trotter will share about their recent summit with the First Nations of North America and Canada, and preparations underway for an Academic Symposium and Grand Ceremonial Opening in Jerusalem in October 2024.
